Back to school, Healthy tips for colds and flu
After a relaxing summer, school is finally back in session!
Some parents are super excited and others are sad to see their little ones go off to school.
Either way, one thing is sure to happen - Cold and flu season!
New classmates, new germs!
But that doesn’t have to be you!
There are few things that you can do to prevent this from happening:
Avoid close contact with your peers at school or work place
Practice good healthy habits:
Keep your hands clean
Avoid touching your mouth, nose, and eyes
Disinfect your desk
Take your vitamins
multivitamins
Vitamin C
Zinc
Vitamin D
Probiotics
Protein
Sleep at least eight hours
Eat lots of healthy fruits and vegetables, and healthy soups.
Drink lots of teas
Exercise
Other very important tips; stay home if you feel sick; Cover your mouth and nose when sneezing.

However, if you actually have a cold 🤧
Here are few tips for healthy natural remedies:
chicken soup is a must
Stay hydrated
Drink lots of teas
Get fresh air and sun
Healthy tea recipes:
In a pot, boil 1 liter of water and add:
1 fresh ginger root
1 fresh turmeric root
cinnamon
black pepper
Bring it to a boil, then turn off and keep covered for 30 min
Strain, add honey and lemon juice, and drink 2-3 cups daily.
Echinacea and Astragalus extract is also recommended to help with a cold as well as raw garlic with honey, and fresh juices.
I hope that these tips will help prevent flu season rather than you getting sick and looking at this as a helpful treatment option.
